BATT INSULATION
Batt insulation is insulation in the form of a thick blanket which is placed between the studs of your walls or the joists of your attic floor. It is the most commonly used form of insulation and offers significant energy saving benefits. Batt insulation comes with or without facing, which is used as a vapor barrier. Because different R-values are necessary for different areas of the home, batt insulation is available in a variety of R-values. An R-value is simply a rating of a product’s ability to insulate or resist heat flow.
While batt insulation is available in many different materials, we install fiberglass and cotton batt insulation.

COTTON INSULATION
Cotton insulation is a relatively new form of insulation made of high quality natural fibers. It contains 85% post-industrial recycled fibers. It is extremely effective in its performance as an acoustic and thermal insulator. Because it is treated with a boron-based fire retardant, it is classified as a Class-A Building Product meeting the highest ASTM testing standards for fire and smoke ratings, fungi resistance and corrosiveness. It contains no chemical irritants and requires no warning labels, creating a safer environment and installation process. By using 100% recyclable cotton insulation, you help prevent waste in landfills and thus contribute to living green.
Because of the way UltraTouch is manufactured, with a three dimensional infrastructure, sound waves are trapped and isolated to bring you maximum Noise Reduction Coefficient for sound travel. Significantly reduce noise from air planes, traffic, radios, TV, and conversations in other rooms.
